Job Vacancy Rate, Annual

Managed by Ministry of Manpower

The annual figures are the simple averages of the total number of job vacancies divided by the total demand for labour at the end of each quarter. The total demand for labour is defined as the sum of the number of employees and job vacancies at the end of the quarter.

Before 2006, the Labour Market Survey covers private sector establishments each with at least 25 employees. From 2006 onwards, the survey also covers the public sector.

The data is rounded to one decimal place.
