Footnotes: Data for 2010 and 2020 are based on the Census of Population while data for 2015 and 2025 are based on the General Household Survey. Data for all other years are based on the Comprehensive June Labour Force Survey. Survey estimates are subject to sampling variability. Data on living arrangement are as declared by survey respondents. The presence of spouse/ children is based on those living in the same household and is regardless of age. Children include in-laws. Data have been updated in Jun 2026 to incorporate refinements to the identification of child-in-law.
