This dataset contains monthly averages of water temperature, air temperature, air pressure, relative humidity, solar irradiance and wind speed, read by MESN buoys located at St. John's Island, Raffles Lighthouse, and Pulau Ubin.

Funded by NRF, MESN is a multi-institutional and multi-disciplinary project that brings together experts from NUS, NTU, A*STAR and SUTD to establish Singapore as a key player in global and regional ocean monitoring networks. Besides water temperature and weather, MESN collects data on a variety of seawater parameters important to biogeochemical and oceanographic processes that are relevant to the study of climate change.
